Raiders ink Garcia to one-year deal

Jeff Garcia signed a one-year deal with the Oakland Raiders, per ESPN.com.

The 39-year-old quarterback spent the last two years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Oakland will be the sixth stop in seven years for the four-time Pro Bowler.

Early reports indicate Garcia is willing to sit behind former no. 1 pick JaMarcus Russell, though Shutdown Corner at Yahoo! Sports foresees a quarterback controversy in the making.
