Danny Ainge has heart attack

Per the Boston Globe, Boston Celtics Director of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge suffered a mild heart attack earlier today.

He is currently at home resting comfortably, according to a statement released by the team.

Ainge was a guard for the Celtics during the 1980's and was a part of two championship teams. He rejoined the team in 2003 to run the franchise.

He orchestrated trades to bring Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen to Boston, the cornerstones of the team's NBA title run last season.
