John Madden retires from broadcasting

Per ESPN, Pro Football Hall of Fame member John Madden has announced that he is retiring from broadcasting after 30 years in the booth. Madden, who is 73 years old, was the coach of the former Super Bowl Champion Oakland Raiders and began his broadcasting career in 1979. He has won 16 Emmy Awards for his performance on all four major broadcast networks.
